Triton1 sector frequency adjustments and client routeros upgrades - 12th December 2010

Currently the Triton1 sector is not performing as it should, which is possibly due to frequency-related issues, but most likely due to overcrowding.

We are going to try a different frequency and we are upgrading all of the client rbs to ROS5, in preparation for a move to the proprietary MikroTik nv2 protocol, which apparently will improve performance on PtMP links aka a sector.

Participants

Pretty much everyone on the Triton1 sector.

Plan

Bigmikedavis will get frequency scans from as many users as possible, and try to find a suitable frequency for the sector.

In parallel, Bigmikedavis will get as many as possible onto RouterOS5 rc5, in order to convert to nv2.
