Manual

IP Filter (Important) (now also twosix compliant)

  • In notepad type these two lines:
    • 1.1.1.1 - 172.15.255.255
    • 172.32.0.0 - 255.255.255.255

The above only allows access to 172.16.0.0/12

  • Save the file as ipfilter.dat

  • Then open the folder, "%AppData%\uTorrent". (Press windowskey+R, type %AppData%\uTorrent)

Paste the ipfilter.dat you just created in this folder.

  • In uTorrent press Ctr+P.
    • In the advanced tab, make sure that ipfilter.enable is true.
    • Apply > OK > Close

  • In the peer tab, right click on an IP adress > select Reload IPfilter.

Ok you have now blocked all the ip adresses ranging from 1.1.1.1 - 172.15.255.255 and 172.32.0.0 - 255.255.255.255. Thus your utorrent can only download and upload from CTWUG ip range = 172.16.0.0 - 172.31.255.255

You may modify this range as you please by editing the ipfilter.dat file.

To check if you are blocking the IP's, in the Logger tab you should see the following;
