Manual
IP Filter (Important) (now also twosix compliant)
- In notepad type these two lines:
- 1.1.1.1 - 172.17.255.255
- 172.19.0.0 - 172.25.255.255
- 172.27.0.0 - 255.255.255.255
The above only allows access to 172.16.0.0/12
- Save the file as ipfilter.dat
- Then open the folder, "%AppData%\uTorrent". (Press windowskey+R, type %AppData%\uTorrent)
Paste the ipfilter.dat you just created in this folder.
- In uTorrent press Ctr+P.
- In the advanced tab, make sure that ipfilter.enable is true.
- Apply > OK > Close
- In the peer tab, right click on an IP adress > select Reload IPfilter.
Ok you have now blocked all none ctwug ip adresses.
Thus your utorrent can only download and upload from CTWUG ip range = 172.18.0.0/16 & 172.26.0.0/16
You may modify this range as you please by editing the ipfilter.dat file.
To check if you are blocking the IP's, in the Logger tab you should see the following;
Loaded ipfilter.dat (2 entries)
