How to create a IRC Vhost:
Only registered nicks will be able to request a vhost and it requires that IRC services is up.
- Make sure that you have registered your nick
- In your irc client type "/hostserv request $vhost" (eg. idontwanttofixmydns.ctwug.za.net)
- Contact your local friendly IRC oper to approve the request.
Things to note:
- If you are on the wug and you have/will not update your DNS, then don't bother requesting a vhost.
- Exception banning on the #channel is preferred to vhosts
