NorthPen

Northpen is a network area project to move a part of the network to an IP block instead of the fragmented IPs we are currently using in the area.

Network Boundaries

The network edges are at Neso, Mercury and Mars.
This means the primary highsites of the NorthPen area are Ariel and Uranus.

IP Range

NorthPen as reserved the 172.18.220.0/22 range of IPs for the project.

Uranus

Uranus is a CTWUG owned highsite. It has one RB.
Clients:
Uranus has one AP (uranus2).

• MKV Currently using a /25 but only using 3 IPs
• happytimes Currently assigned a /27 but only using 6 IPs.

• Moleman who has 1 client and uses a /28

Moleman

MoleMan is a private node.

• Moleman who has 1 client and uses a /28
  • Sumen who uses a /29
  • GoliWoG who has 1 client and uses a /29
    • cybersuicide who uses a /29

Ariel

Ariel is a CTWUG owned highsite managed by MKV and Beetle001. It has two RBs.
Clients:
Ariel has two APs (Ariel1 [wlan-east], Ariel2[wlan-south]).
Ariel1:

• Terminal is using a /29
• Lochness Has 1 client and is using a /28
  • Beetle002 is using a /28

Ariel2:

• Twisted Currently using a /29

Backbones:
Ariel has 4 backbones.

• Mercury which is a network edge.
• Mars which is a network edge.
• Neso which is a network edge.
• Uranus which is an area highsite (details above).
