IRC Usage Policy

CTWUG Channel Rules:

1. Respect other users.
2. Ask before you PVT someone.
3. Limit CAPS usage, its considered rude to use CAPS.
4. No blasphemy or excessive use of crude language.
5. No talk of pirate software/movies/games.
6. OPS have to right to PVT you and or Kick/Ban you at their discression.

Minimum Connection Requirements

The minimum connection requirements is a work in progress. Currently connections to a CTWUG hs require you to have a -78db (allowed to go to -80db) signal. Failing to consistently being able to connect at that rate will get your mac disabled. This is done for the good of the other users on that interface. If your connection is bad and keeps dropping, it affects the quality of links that other people have on that interface.

Rules regarding Downloading vs Gaming

Gaming time has been voted the following:

• Monday - Thrusday: 8PM - 12AM

• Friday: 7PM - 3AM

• Saturday: 3PM - 3AM

• Sunday: 5PM - 12AM

DC and torrents are automatically scheduled to stop all downloads in these times. It is your responsibility to note these times and please schedule any other downloading outside of these times. We are attempting to queue/drop all downloads in these times, but its not fail safe.
