TheFarm is a high site located at the foot of the Sun Valley side of Ou Kaapse Weg and services the Sun Valley and extreme western parts of the Fish Hoek areas. TheFarm went live during 2010. It is a critical high site in the DeepSouth infrastructure as two other high sites (Ewers and Slangkop connect directly to it) as well as providing access to the rest of CTWUG for Sun Valley, Capri, Noordhoek, Kommetjie and Hout Bay.

TheFarm is collaboratively administered by pmurgs.

TheFarm connects to the pmurgs node for connection on to the rest of the CTWUG network.
The link is a dual-MiMo link which is done with two pairs of 400mm Ubiquiti 25dbi Nanobridges in half-duplex - one pair sending and one pair receiving data from pmurgs.
Ewers Link

TheFarm has a point to point link with the Ewers highsite. The link consists of two 400mm Ubiquiti 25dbi Nanobridges.
Slangkop Link
SSID: http://ctwug.za.net/slangkop2
TheFarm has a point to point link to Slangkop node, connecting Slangkop node to the CTWUG network. This also provides the link between Slangkop node and Kush node in Hout Bay with a connection to the rest of the CTWUG network.
TheSani Link
SSID: http://ctwug.za.net/TheFarm3
TheFarm has a point to point link with the TheSani. The link consists of Ubiquiti Nanostation M5 at TheFarm to a 400mm Ubiquiti 25dbi Nanobridge at TheSani.

Sun Valley Sector

The Sun Valley sector covers the whole of Sun Valley and the extreme western parts of Fish Hoek. The sector is a Ubiquiti 120 degree 19dbi Rocket M5 sector.
