What is Admin Projects

Admin Projects is projects and things to do that were either identified by the Committee members, Admin or users. This section will take a lot of time and effort, so please feel free to contribute to it. Contact the relevant people that are busy with it and try to help were possibly or say your say on the discussion pages. As time goes by, we will have a nice set of documentation that will remove all the gray areas from the WUG.

Projects to be done

If we could type this stuff out once and save it here, the next time someone askes for the info we could just point hime here.

1. What is each Committee Members, Team Members and HS Admins duty and in which area will they be able to assist

2. Structure/Processes

2.1 Create a list of FAQ “frequently asked questions”

2.2 Write config script for RB, nice startup scripts for new users.

2.3 Investigate BOT help function

2.4 Revise code of conduct

2.5 Behaviour of Node's

2.6 Revise High site Documentation to guide users in future how and what is required when building a HS According to HS Standards

3. Communication to Comms and Wuggers, Give feedback on wugg related activities taking place each week

4. Mail Server for ctwug use - RB Backup Scripts etc.

6. Internet sharing - Accordingly to law it is illegal to share the service, those who have agreements amongst them selves, is there problem and not the WUG, Those who abuse the service will be blocked after 2 warnings and flagged

7. Track Current/New User info

8. IP allocation and display on Website - Start with HS IP's

9. Some info on Technologies in use, OSPF, Voip etc.
