IRC Servers

We have a few IRC (Internet Relay Chat) servers linked together to form an IRC network, allowing multiple users to communicate with each other in real-time.

Create a new file in /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/00proxy and add only this line to the file:

   Acquire::http { Proxy "http://ubuntu.io.ctwug.za.net:3142"; };

Then you need to do an update with this command:

   sudo apt-get update
