Rage HS Adjustments - 27th November 2010
We attempted to add a 29dBi 60cm dual polarity dish at the bottom of the pole to make more space. This dish was going to replace the 31dBi 90cm dish and 27dBi grid to pmurgs. After doing the change over, the pmurgs link was terrible. We attempted to use the dual polarity dish in only single polarity with the 27dBi grid in mimo, results did not improve. so we switched back to the original pmurgs setup, link was happy again.
We moved the triton 27dBi grid on to the end of the scarecrow and one of the Diabolix mimo grids towards the middle of the scarecrow. This increased the amount of space between all the antennas which resulted in a much better link between Triton and Rage. We also switched the 31dBi dish on the pmurgs link from vertical to horizontal polarity and this improved the signal and data speed on the link.
Total of almost 7 hours work done.
