PPPOE Internet

This tutorial is to explain how to make a pppoe dial for internet to your ADSL or Ibust ISP. Note that you need to have your ADSL Modem set to bridged mode. In Winbox menu click the PPP menu. On the new box click interface and the red + to add a new interface. You want to add a PPPOE client interface.

Under General , give the interface a name (like internet)

Under the Dial Out tab, enter your ISP username and password. Tick the add default route box, to automatically route all internet traffic via this connection.

You now need to add a firewall rule to NAT (masquerade) your ips for your pc's to be able to access the internet. On the Winbox menu, go IP > Firewall and click the NAT Tab. Now under the General tab, at Chain=src-nat and choose the Out Interface as the internet connection that you named earlier.

Go to the Action Tab. Click Action=Masquerade
