CTWuG Apple SUS
What is Apple SUS
The CTWuG Apple Software Update Server is a local mirror on the Apple Software Update Server out on the web that cache all the new OS updates and enables you to distribute it locally to Apple machines. Making use of the Software Update Server will keep all your Mac OS components up to date. This server is setup to work via the WUG and on set times it would check and see if there is any new updates on the Apple Servers. New updates will download and automatically added to the catalogs on the local SUS server. Once the update is available and enabled on the server you should be able to install it via Software Updates on your mac.

How It Works
In order to get your Apple Machine to check for update and download from the WuG Apple SUS you need to point your Mac to the server. I have generated application to do this and point your machine to the local server. Use the links below (According to the Mac OS you using) to point your machine to the local server.
How to Check my OS
Once you've boot your machine up and can see the desktop, you can navigate to and click on the Apple Menu in the top left corner. A drop down menu would appear and the very first option in the list would be About This Mac, click this option and another window would open. Just under the big Mac OS X letters you would see something like Version 10.5.x / 10.6.x / 10.7.x note this and download the according application to point your machine to the local server.

Unzip the zip file and launch the app. Set the Update Server address to the below according to your OS version. Click save and it would point your machine to the local server.
