Introduction

Welcome to the CTWUG-WoW Tournaments wiki page. This page will provide you with more information about how what World of Warcraft Tournaments are and how tournaments are run on the CTWUG-WoW server. As you probably already know, tournaments are events where you test your might against other players. There are different tournament styles such as 2v2,3v3 and 5v5, but on the CTWUG-WoW server tournaments are mainly held with a 1v1 or Free For All (FFA) style.

Tournaments on the CTWUG-WoW server are grouped into two main catergories namely Normal Tournaments and Special Tournaments. This wiki page will handle information with regard to Normal Tournaments and general information about tournaments as well as information about Special Tournaments.

Tournaments are held within Arenas, but for more information on Arena matches please click here.

Special Easter Tournament - July 2010
Quincy: 2nd Place in Tournament
Redeemer: Tournament Champion
Ishida: 3rd Place in Tournament

This month the CTWUG-WoW server hosted their second special tournament. During the tournament players tested their might against each other, but only one arose victorious.

The winner of the Second Special Tournament is Redeemer.

In second place came Quincy and in third place came Ishida.

The tournament was held within the Gurubashi Arena in Stranglethorn Vale and the tournament grounds was decorated in the fashion of easter.

We are proud to announce that the tournament donations counted up to R1 910.00, which will be used to increase the link from the server to the WUG and thereby increasing in game pings for all.

We would also like to thank everyone who helped make this tournament possible including Rellik and Tfyre who adjusted gaming time to allow us to host the tournament from 11:00.

Until the next tournament, train to redeem yourself's.
